On-site Wastewater Accreditation Program

Interest in OWAP Grows

NPCA’s Onsite Wastewater Accreditation Program (OWAP) was launched April 1, 2006. Since then, interest in OWAP has grown, with inquiries coming in from Departments of Health (DOHs), Departments of Environmental Quality (DEQs) and other regulatory agencies. Currently, the following states are reviewing the OWAP requirements for consideration in future specifications:

• Ohio
• Tennessee
• Arkansas
