Government
Affairs
NPCA monitors legislative and
regulatory issues that affect the precast industry.
In addition to interpreting and communicating pertinent
information, NPCA provides guidance and instructions
to members about communicating with elected officials.
NPCA’s OnLine Government Affairs (known as OLGA)
service is a tool that allows NPCA members to identify
their congressmen and send their opinions simply by
typing in the appropriate ZIP code.
Marketing
NPCA travels throughout North
America to actively promote the use of precast concrete
to specifiers, engineers, developers, DOT officials
and other public works officials. NPCA typically exhibits
at such major trade shows as WEFTEC, NOWRA, AASHTO,
APWA, ASLA, ASCE and World of Concrete. The staff and
NPCA Marketing Committee also develop tools and programs
to better equip members to promote their products at
the local level.
