NPCA Best Practices Manual Offers Tips for Watertight Tanks

Precast concrete tanks offer watertight on-site wastewater treatment for many decades when they are manufactured to the appropriate specifications. NPCA has recently published a new edition of its best practices manual, “Precast Concrete On-site Wastewater Tanks” to provide benchmarks for manufacturers and installers of precast tanks.

The new second edition of the manual provides guidance on each critical step toward attaining a watertight septic tank, from material selection to manufacturing techniques, testing, installation and much more. Cost of the publication is $25 for NPCA members; $40 for nonmembers. The manual is also available as a downloadable pdf; the online version is free for NPCA members on the Members Only section of www.precast.org and $10 for nonmembers.
