Portland Jetport to Build Parking Garage
The jetport at Portland, Maine, is proceeding with a new $36.1 million parking garage to meet the demands of increased numbers of passengers. The precast concrete and galvanized steel structure will have five levels and accommodate 1,039 parking spaces. Construction is scheduled to begin next May, primarily because precast concrete products in the area are in such high demand that they must be purchased a year in advance.
